Andrew Hoeveler
Andrew McIntosh Hoeveler is an interdisciplinary artist and designer, whose current practice spans motion graphic design, visual projection, and installations. After graduating Northwestern University Radio/TV/Film department and winning a Student Emmy Award in Animation in 1996, Hoeveler moved to Los Angeles becoming an autodidact in the quickly transforming new field of motion graphics. He draws inspiration from the memories of his childhood, playing amongst the trees and streams of New Hampshire, and is influenced by the dynamic forces at work in nature, time and light, as well as the magical art of illusion. Hoeveler enjoys playing with the merger between technology and art, and is currently studying the programming language “Processing”, experimenting with dynamic systems of design that adapt from responses to stimuli.
