Holly Connell

I am originally from Poole, Dorset, a small town neighbouring Bournemouth. I came to Solent to do a BA (Hons) English and Media degree for my ambition is to become an English and Media secondary school teacher.

I have enjoyed both English and Media subjects since I took these at A-Level along with IT. I successfully finished Sixth Form in which allowed me to be accepted into Solent to pursue my goal.

Since being at Solent I have been a member of the Solent Ravens Cheerleading squad where I made many friends and have enjoyed being part of a team. I am on the Game Day squad in which I cheer for the Solent Basketball team and also the Solent Amercian Football team. I am also on the Competition squad where I compete against other University squads and Allstar squads.
