Holden Manley

Hi my name is Holden my back ground is composed of 4 different pictures, each picture represents a part of my life or impacts my life in some way. The violin and the piano represent my musical career as a whole, I started playing the violin when I was in the 6th grade. I've been playing violin for 8 years and I'm currently taking Violin lessons from Hye-Jin Kim at East Carolina University. I'm also in a class called Chamber Music, the class consists of about 50 students upper and undergraduate students. The Chamber music class has several different groups of 6 or less musicians, each group works on different piece that varies in style and composer. Eventually each group will have to perform what piece they have been working on all semester for a grade. I've also played piano for 5 years I only have time to practice about 1 hour each day. I don't have any classes that involve piano, I am currently learning piano for personal interests. The stethoscope represents my ambitions and goals that I have already set for myself in life. I am currently a Biology major at East Carolina University,I have 17 college credit hours as a freshman including the music classes which Is a lot for most freshman. After I've completed my undergraduate degree, I plan on attending a medical school so I can become a family physician and help people in their everyday lives. The picture with the animated characters on is a from a game called LoL(League of Legends). This game represents my computer life because I've spent so much of my life on the computer on several games including LoL. I've spent somewhere between 60,000-80,000 minuets of my life on LoL alone not counting the other games I've played in the past and currently.The other games that I play are WoW(World of Warcraft), Elsword, and CSS(Counter Strike Source). The picture of the Smurf is from a very popular show called the Smurfs that smurf in particular is know as Lazy Smurf I get called lazy a lot by my friends. I'm a very laid back and non prejudice person, but I always get my school work or other important assignments done on time. I also try my best to never be late for anything because showing up on time is very important in the real world. Even though I'm in college now I still manage my time for all of my interests and school.
