Born in the rural city Bad Salzungen in Thuringia, enjoyed my youth In Berlin and studied Physics alongside, obtained a PhD and moved to Hiroshima to end up living in the mountains of another rural place, Higashi-Hiroshima. I am an Assistant Professor at Hiroshima University trying to obtain some sort of achievement in the field of Life Sciences. I enjoy japanese nature, culture and food and love to travel around to see exciting places and meet interesting people.
