Carla Shoates-Smith

Carla was born in Newark, New Jersey and attended high school at Orange High School in Orange N. J. She later moved to Charlotte N. C. where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. Carla moved to Atlanta, GA to pursue her career in Social Work working in Social Services and Mental Health. While working in Mental Health, she attended The Atlanta School of Massage in Dunwoody, G. A. Carla started her business, Essential Touch, LLC as a massage therapy practice in Atlanta. She later returned to Charlotte, N. C. and integrated her knowledge to promote wellness for women. She is working on obtaining her massage license for the state of N. C. to promote her services as a massage therapy along with products from Soul Purpose and Kitsy Lane Boutique. She aims to create a holistic healing and personal wellness network to help women to be well in Mind | Body | & Spirit.
