I pursue software development and music with equal passion and find that they have much more in common than one would think.
I continue to seek new knowledge and inspiration every day; complacency in life is my biggest fear.
I was born and raised in Vienna, Austria. My life story is such that I am now fluent in four languages, and rusty in two additional ones.
I believe in social responsibility and community service. I volunteered as language tutor for Chinese immigrants during college, taught music at a music school for eight years in addition to a regular full-time job, and have served as President of the Taiwanese American Association of New York for 2 years as well as on the Board of Directors of the Chelsea Symphony for 4 years. I also engage in activism in matters concerning Taiwan's democracy.
In my spare time, I am a soccer junkie (both on the field and in front of the TV) and have an incurable weakness for chocolate.
