A gradutating senior at the University of Georgia, I am passionate about a future career in the healthcare field. In May of 2015, I will be the proud recipient of an A.B. in Political Science, with a minor concentration in Public Health. During my time at UGA, I was honored to be on the Dean's list multiple times, as well as a Presidential Scholar after achieving a pefect 4.0 GPA. Under the direction of the Department of Internaitonal Affairs at the University, I was able to conduct undergraduate research with data concerning human rights violations around the globe. I am also a proud member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority, where I was able to work closely with the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation for Juvenile Diabetes research through differnt volunteer efforts.

Along with school, I enjoyed working part-time for University Cancer and Blood Center, a large Oncology practice in Athens, GA. I was able to interact directly with patients, as well as work with electronic medical databases and insurance companies.

Prior to my posisiton I currently hold, I served as an intern for Congressman Austin Scott, Rep.8th District GA. I worked directly with the Social Security and Veteran's Administration for Congressman Scott's consitituents.

Aside from school and my job, I enjoy traveling. My latest endeavor was a visit to New York City. I have been all over the world, including Canada and multiple islands in the Carribean. Prior to medical school graduation, I intend to join a program such as Doctors Without Borders, so that I can not only travel but also further my career and help people.
