I accept projects in freelance writing, copyediting/proofreading, content development, document design (newsletters, fliers, brochures, etc.), and book indexing. Here’s the scoop on my background:

◦ Armed with insight and altruism, I am visionary with a keen eye for detail and a gift for creativity.

◦ As a grant writer, I have been awarded ~70% of grants submitted (noteworthy for a budding org).

◦ The craft of 30+ forms and 90+ promotional items are under my belt.

◦ In 2010-11 with two colleagues I helped develop and launch The Girls Way, an original nonprofit that promotes healthy development in teen girls. My team and I earned a 501(c)(3) status; formulated mission, vision, and position statements; designed an original logo; created and developed systems and programs; established a Board of Directors; acquired and designed a space with an exercise studio utilizing sustainable features; built a donor program; and participated in a strategic plan.

◦ My bachelor's degree is in English with an emphasis in Editing and Technical Writing.
