I am an out of the ordinary educator who teaches high risk kids in a impoverished area. I love my job! I have to remember "that even on my worst day, I am still some child's best hope!" - Larry Bell I have taught Kindergarten for the last 6 years. I will begin next year as our library media specialist for grades K-5. I hope to reach even more students and get more students excited to learn! Check out the two children's books I have illustrated - Engineering Elephants and Pride by Design both written by Emily Hunt and Michelle Pantoya. The stories teach the importance of engeering for children. I am extremely interested in writing a children's book of my own soon... as well as interested in illustrating more for others. When I am not working, I am spending as much time as possible outdoors. I love fishing, camping, sitting around a campfire and enjoying life! I love to read, paint and draw, cook and try new adventures!
