Business Development Accomplishments

  • Managed 234 accounts for Encompass, including 4 of the top 10 customers, within the last 6 months of 2010 I established 37 new customers that generated $113K of new sales in December 2010.
  • Increased the sales volume of my clients in 2010 from an annual rate of $4.65MM to $5.82MM by listening to their needs and adjusting our offerings to fit.
  • Developed a “weekly sale” brochure at Encompass that is updated and distributed to all locations of Aarons Rentals. This brochure allows local Aarons managers to take advantage of sale prices on the consumable products they have demand for, and allows Encompass to increase sales of these high margin products by providing advertising and an easy order process.
  • Created a reporting database at Encompass that all the account managers used to update and track client trends. This database produced created automated reporting that was distributed to everyone on the business development team as well as the corporate board of Directors on a weekly basis.
  • Coordinated all trade show activity for Encompass, including booth selection, the theme based on the cliental, the appropriate collateral to hand out, and scheduling for booth coverage.
  • Established relationships with most of the leading real estate brokers in the market that City Capital Mortgage serviced. This involved cold calling and establishing a rapport with these agents within this highly competitive industry.
  • Worked on the team at City Capital that developed “bundled offerings” of services that helped increase our close rate.
