I believe in a holistic approach to marketing. You need all the pieces to be successful. From the psychology of crafting a brand personality with a message that speaks to the right people, the beauty of a design that captures their attention and imagination, and a strategy that uses those elements to meet goals--it's all important. I believe total marketing needs both sides of the brain. You have to be strategic AND creative. And it helps if you have fun doing it!
