I am a lay homeopath practicing in Norfolk, UK. I studied on the four year course at the Midlands college of homeopathy, qualifiying in 1993 and I adhere to Hahnemann's principles of prescribing as laid out in his sixth edition of the Organon of Medicine. The founder of homeopathy stipulated that a single remedy should be used at any time and that it should take the 'totality' of the patient and their disease into account, i.e. it should be prescribed holistically and with great thought and precision. This is known as the 'classical' method.
