An accomplished sports medicine practitioner in Florida, Homer Zulaica draws upon more than two decades of experience in his career. Over the years, he has held positions as an athletic trainer with multiple professional sports franchises, including the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball and the Dallas Burn of Major League Soccer. Homer Zulaica also served as head trainer and director of sports medicine for professional winter baseball leagues in Venezuela for five years.

Homer Zulaica earned a bachelor’s degree in sports medicine from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, before embarking on his career. In addition to his sports medicine experience, Mr. Zulaica has an extensive background in pharmaceutical sales and the medical device industry with companies such as Forest Labs, Integra Life Sciences & Medtronic.

An active member of both the sports medicine and pharmaceutical sales industries, Homer Zulaica belongs to professional groups and associations, such as the Eastern Iowa Pharma Rep Association, the National Athletic Training Association, and the Hispanic IT Executive Committee (HITEC). A four-year varsity college football player at St. Ambrose, he is fluent in English and Spanish.
