Mary Homes

Boston

Last names and buildings may place us in our world but the reality is we are visitors and our sense of Home is a place within. I was born Mary Wallace. I took another's last name and now I'm on my own again. I am a Realtor (r) by trade. I'm a frustrated and hopeful Environmentalist who believes the earth is a living being. I love thoughtful, innovative and green design. I spent years working at the Museum of Fine Arts and feel as though art and beauty are some of the more important pleasures in our tactile and sensory world.

Music, dancing, hiking, storytelling, poetry, humor, film, memoirs, live performance, creativity, art, cooking, wine, conversations, philosophy, debates, and writing are my passion.

I am a mother of two sons who are wonderful examples of the new true sacred masculine: gentle, strong, emotionally intelligent, loving beings. We live in Jamaica Plain, a vibrant neighborhood with abundant green space and liberal thinking. Where I work as a realtor helping buyers and sellers transition from home to home.
