HomeTech brings new home innovations to Kiwis all over New Zealand. We provide opportunities to improve interior spaces, because we believe everyone deserves to live in a healthy environment. Our areas of expertise include skylights, roof windows, attic stairs, ventilation and infrared heating.

To date, we’ve made over 100,000 installations in over 70,000 homes. We’ve grown exponentially since our launch in 1992, and now we have 16 franchisees across New Zealand, 10 contractor teams, and offices in Auckland and Wellington with over 20 staff.

Our company underwent some changes as we grew. We started off as Solatube NZ Ltd, providing Kiwis with daylighting solutions. In 1996, we became HomeTech and began offering other home innovation services. Now, we are a BRANZ Appraised company and one of Mitsubishi Electric’s top four resellers of heat pumps.

We collaborate with designers, architects and product partners to find the best solutions for both residential and commercial sites. Our team of certified installers and contractors can be found nationwide, so we can work with more customers.
