I am so happy I have the privilege to share my beauty knowledge with you!

A little About Me & Why I made this Beauty and Health Resource:

My Love for make-up and transformation through light and color started many years ago. It led me to pursuing a career in makeup for film and print (because why work at retail if there's a possibility of contributing to something even bigger?!) What I mean by that is when you do someone's make-up at a retail store, it's just your artwork. When you contribute to film or print work through makeup and hair styling, you are in a community of sometimes a hundred or more people that contribute their art to collectively make this very AMAZING piece of work! I love creating and contributing, and that love has led me here.

On set, we layer on some pretty intense makeup on a lot of actors and models. It looks fantastic on screen and believable. Unfortunately, it's not always the best or healthiest for our skin. (Fun Fact: Our skin is the largest organ in our body. Makeup, perfumes, lotions etc all get absorbed into our bloodstream). I see women and young girls getting into the habit of following these makeup techniques and makeup products we use for film (and should not be used for every day makeup).

With all these cancers and autoimmune illnesses on the rise, and more chemicals being layered on our skin on a daily basis, I just feel there's a connection.

My Goal for my website: Honeyfaced.com , is to provide healthy alternatives to those looking for the latest trends in makeup, hairstyling, and general health lifestyle. I have 7 years of experience with all skin tones and types and so many tips and tricks done in a more natural and healthy ways to drive you into Natural Beauty Bliss!
