The long of it is that I'm a librarian who is interested in social media and the way in which we can use it to connect users more efficiently and effectively to the information that they want (especially if they don't know that they want it!) I write about libraries and reading on my CPD23 blog.

I'm a cook (which of course implies that I'm an eater and drinker) who likes ambitious baking, obsessive stock making and not following recipes properly. I write about baking and things involving beetroot on Gastrobabble.

I can be found in various nooks and crannies around the internet: Tweeting inane thoughts and mildly amusing profanities; pinning tattoos, clothing with woodland animals and enormous layer cakes; and photographing things through an ever present faux-vintage filter.
