Eugene, Oregon

I am a teacher by trade, as well as a student. It's impossible to be one and not the other. On good days, I am much more the student. The older I get, my interests become more ecclectic. Yes, there are things that still bore me to tears, but I don't bore as easily as I did as a child. I drove my mom crazy with my excruciatingly painfull bouts of boredom that seemed to have no end. Summers were much longer when I was a kid, twice as long. Now a summer is gone in a snap of a finger. I am passionate about animals, especially dogs and cats. My current fur family include three Labrador Retrievers and four cats. I still count Fred, but he moved out months ago. He is around, but just not here. I live in a dome house in Eugene, Oregon that my Sweetie built for me. I love the house almost as much as I love my animals. I moved from Boston, Massachusetts more than thirty years ago. It sometimes hard to track things that happened more than half my life ago. The 27 years I have loved Sylvia is almost half of my life. I am a gifted athlete, though now my body is paying the price for my days of hockey, soccer, and lacrosse. I bowled professionally, and due to my over zealous thirst to become the best, I did Bowl four perfect games, though only two were sanctioned. I am passionate about readin9g and gardening, though i am taking a sebatical from gardening due an overly growth of weeds, and i can use the summer to build raised beds. I have to save my back. This summer is all about getting my authentic life back.
