Hope Paterson

Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Hope Paterson likes to roll up her sleeves. She is a Toronto based entrepreneur with a knack for finding the pulse of something and then amplifying it. It’s safe to say that ‘food’ is at the centre of Hope’s universe. When she’s not eating it, sniffing it out, gathering it, cooking with it, sharing it, she’s teaching about it.

For the last 20 years, Hope has been involved in numerous start ups ranging from running a restaurant in a small village in Laos, founding a kids cooking camp in PEI, authoring a kids cooking curriculum in Bangkok, founding an events catering company in Toronto, diving into oyster wholesale in Montreal and helping to build the leading kids catering company in the GTA from ground zero to 10K kids a day. She’s now immersed in her latest project as the Executive Director for a kids food education foundation - Rainbow Food Education Foundation.

Hope’s signature skill is being a master generalist who builds memorable culture and brands from inception to success.

"You must taste and taste. Taste everything, and often. Taste even if you’re scared." -- Tamar Adler
