Hello and welcome to my about me page!
This is the beginning of a journey for myself (Hope) and my child (Nostx!gia) to create content including a podcast addressing issues close to our hearts (stay tuned).
But as this specific page is just about me - I am Hope and a student studying at Deakin University. I am doing this unit to learn more about social media in general but with an emphasis on learning about podcasts. My major is Sociologybut I also have an interest in Gender Studies.
Outside of my studies I work for myself, I have 3 teenage children that still live at home and I am a fan of music, singing, and badminton. I’m also interested in animals, travel and movies. And I am passionate about causes & issues such as gendered violence including sexual assault, LGBTQIA+ equality, neurodiversity awareness and just general issues facing young people today.
