Hope Burnaman
Project Manager, Writer, and Volunteer in Norwalk, Connecticut
Hi, I’m Hope 👋
I’m originally from the US and now based in Denmark, where I spend a lot of time thinking about how we think, feel, and connect.
I have a background in cognition and communication, and I’m endlessly curious about how people understand one another — across cultures, in relationships, and through language, stories, and technology. I’m especially interested in the small, everyday moments of communication that shape how we connect (or miss each other).
By day, I work as a Communications Specialist at a SaaS company, where I enjoy turning complex tech into clear, human-centered messages. I love using the possibilities of technology in ways that feel thoughtful, accessible, and genuinely helpful — not just efficient.
Creatively, I’m a writer starting out in children’s literature, with a longer-term goal of building a broader writing career. I’m drawn to stories with heart — the kind that explore emotions, curiosity, and what it means to be human, no matter the audience.
This space is a mix of my interests: communication, culture, storytelling, and the ways we connect — both online and offline. Always learning, always curious, and always rooting for better conversations.
