the hopeless romantic

I'm a 21 year old college student from New Jersey. I'm a hopeless romantic in the literal sense. I’m a wishful thinker, a shoulder to cry on, and the advice giver to most of my friends, mainly with their successful, but more often so failing, relationships. this seems extreme to say, but the amount of times they’ve told me to blog about this topic caused me to finally consider it, and so it begins.

I can see both sides to every story and try to rationalize others’ opinions, and in most cases, this sets me ahead. I will admit, unfortunately, that I’m terrible at taking my own advice. if I have a friend who likes a guy, I’ll encourage her to put it out there, let him know how she feels. in my situation, I keep my mouth shut. in the end it’s always easier to dish out advice than take it…but it’s a learning experience.

all in all, my blog will be exactly that, advice and experience, mixed in with personal situations and stories about mine, and in some cases, my friends, relationships. college provides plenty of scenarios, and I have quite the list already...
