Hope Reed

Hi Everyone!

My name is Hope and I was born and raised in Monroe County, Alabama. The little town of Frisco City is the where I grew up at. At the age of 20, I got married to my high school sweetheart then we moved to Foley, AL which was only 10 minutes from the beach. I started off in real estate as a front desk clerk then moved on into the Accounting department. I learned so much about the rules and laws regarding how to properly sell and close listings. I obtained my license for a couple of years and working with some successful realtors as their assistant. After 8 years working at ReMax, the market crashed and many stopped working so I got the opportunity to work in the vacation rental industry as an operation manager over 75 properties. With my experience as a real estate assistance as well as the Accounting department, the transition into this industry was easy. I enjoyed doing this type of work but realized my passion was overlooking the properties. Having them staged properly for the guest and making sure all inventory was accounted for, cleaning areas spotless, and making the guest and owners happy they chose us as their rental agency. I handled all departments in the business. From filing taxes and 1099's to scheduling maintenance and cleanings, plus marketing and cold calling owners to gain more clients. I maintained it all for several years working 7 days a week getting over 40 hours everytime. Time flew by and I missed a lot of things with my family.

I love property management but became burnt out in 2015 when I started working for a realtor who does what she needs to gain a step ahead no matter who is hurt. It out my mindframe in a different place and I eventually decided to leave the company.

This decision lead to us back to our hometown area and happy we made this decision. Time has slowed down and memories with loved ones is already happening.
