Hope Snipes

I am a recent Clemson University graduate with a B.A. in Communication Studies! Go Tigers! I am interested in pursuing a career in non-profit fundraising/PR in the Asheville area. I have experience in video production and editing as well as practice writing and editing press releases for Clemson University. While at Clemson, I was an active blogger for the university to attract prospective students to our amazing campus. I recently completed an internship at the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce where I met a handful of inspirational and talented individuals. Throught this experience, I was hired as a project manager for an upcoming event for the Chamber. It is an Outdoor Living Expo to showcase the importance of shopping locally to the community. There will be food vendors, entertainment for the family, hot air balloon rides and of course, local businesses! I'm now an Asheville local, working for United Way as a Loaned Executive. I love this job, but sadly, it is coming to an end in November...

I love Clemson, crafting (especially scrapbooking) my family and friends. I have also found a new interest in jewelry making. I still have a lot to learn! I enjoy the beach and the beauty of the mountains and love that it is only a car ride away! I'm also a cat loving Yogi who through yoga and meditation stays grounded in the midst of the busy world we live in!
