I am a grade 10 student at Oakville Trafalgar High School. I am a competitive equestrian, currently second in OHJA 1.0m Junior/Amateur division. I train and compete around 20 hours a week, and have all the responsibilities of owning a horse. I am very diligent and not afraid to overcome significant barriers to succeed. At an early age it became clear that I learned differently and was diagnosed with dyslexia. I changed schools so that I could learn to adapt, 4 years later I returned to my original school and through hard work and determination graduated with Proficiency (80% average or better). In high school I have worked hard to retain my position on the Honour Roll.
