I am interested in the independence of information. I work at LSE where I try to foster research partneships with business that benefit both LSE's academic excellence and independence and help companies to take full advantage of academic knowledge. I also do some government affairs consultancy, and in my spare time I take an interest in media politics and the economics of news, which I occasionally waffle about at www.chumbly.com.
In the past I have worked in film production, in the Department of Public Information at the UN in New York, and as a Venture Capital fund manager.
