I am a dentist in Hornsby, Australia. After graduating from Australia Christian College in 2000, I went on to dental school. After finishing school, I followed in my family's footsteps by joining the practice my parents started. Together, we are pleased to have ten dental hygienists, along with three dentists.
As a dentist, I am interested in the proper care of teeth and gums. Since working with my parents, I am able to take a trip two to three times a year to Africa. There, I am able to help teach the children about teeth and gum care. I take loads of toothbrushes and toothpaste to pass around. Each time, I visit a different village so I can spread all of my knowledge around. When I am home, I work hard to prepare for each visit. I get sponsors and collect samples to give to the children. I also try to collect food and clothing which I also enjoy handing out to the poor people.
When I am in Africa, I learn so much about happiness. Despite being so poor, the communities all work together to survive. Despite the lack of food and water, the people shine with love. The children are all so blessed and loved. I come home and appreciate all that I have even more.
Right now, I am single, though I am looking. I really hope to find a woman who will enjoy coming with me to Africa. I want to be able to share my love with her. I think if we both travel to Africa, we will come home feeling really blessed every time. I want a wife who will appreciate everything that we have.
I do hope to have some children some day. I would really love it if they followed in my family's footsteps and decided to become dentists too. I would love to pass Hornsby Dental Clinic on to my children.
