Design Chat Noir Hotel

68 Boulevard de Clichy 75018 Paris

Paying homage to the famous cabaret of the same name, the Chat Noir is a hotel with enormous character, giving the familiar red and black motif a decidedly modern twist. Symbolic of the Paris of the artists of the 19th century, the black cat pops up here and there around the hotel, adding a spellbinding charm. You will love our balcony rooms and the view over the rooftops of Paris from the 6th and 7th floors, including a panoramic view of the Eiffel Tower.
The Chat Noir’s 39 light-filled rooms are fitted with quality modern conveniences: blissfully soft bedding, air conditioning, flat screen colour tv with satellite, direct-dial telephone, free WiFi , in-room safe, private bathroom with bath or shower, hair dryer, accessible room.
At the foot of Montmartre and just a few steps from the famous Moulin Rouge cabaret, the Chat Noir is strategically placed to discover Paris, in a district bubbling with excitement and the many theatres, discos and live music events that will seduce fans of Paris by night. You will love the steep Abbesses district with a host of shops in the rue Lepic, cafés (including the one made famous by Amélie Poulain in the film), and the iconic Sacré-Cœur just a few strides from the hotel. All the major tourist attractions such as the Opera, Madeleine, the Place de la Concorde, the major department stores and the train stations (Gare de l’Est and Gare du Nord for Eurostar & Thalys) are just a few metro stops away from the hotel.
Our breakfast room is designed to take you further into the Paris of the artists, and is open with a generous buffet from 7am to 10pm. Stay and enjoy the peace and comfort of the breakfast room to surf the internet or read the daily international newspapers at your disposal.
Concierge service offers special packages « à la carte» upon request (e.g. romantic night with candles, rose petals and bottle of champagne) including reservations for your cultural outings (museums, Versailles, expos, Seine cruises, the opera, theatre, themed itineraries such as gourmet, wellbeing etc.); local restaurants ensuring a personalised welcome for our guests; and local advice including tips on our favourite places: an intimate café in the Abbesses, an organic eatery in the rue des Martyrs, designer retro boutiques, the St Pierre markets, or the magnificent Musee de la Vie Romantique.
