The families of two of the ten people who died at the Astroworld Festival, according to a report from Houston ABC station KTRK, have reached agreements in both of their respective cases.
The cases made by the families of Axel Acosta, 21, and Brianna Rodriguez, 16, according to the station, were resolved.
Acosta flew from the Pacific Northwest to see the event while Rodriguez was a high school student from the Houston Heights neighbourhood.
According to KTRK, Houston lawyer Tony Buzbee on Astroworld settlement confirmed the Acosta family's settlement.
The family of Axel Acosta's complaints against Travis Scott, Live Nation, Apple, and other companies connected to the Astroworld tragedy have been settled, according to a statement by Buzbee. Everything is kept private. We believe that this lawsuit and settlement will result in the urgently required reform in how concerts are planned, permitted, organised, and conducted in order to make them safer for everyone involved.
