Houston Mcdowell
Podcast, Life Coach, and Sales in Nashville, TN, USA
My name is Houston McDowell, and I’m currently the Vice President of Sales at Restorative Biologics, where I lead national growth efforts in advanced biologics, orthopedics, and regenerative wound care. I’ve spent my entire career committed to helping healthcare professionals deliver better patient outcomes, whether through innovative products, strong clinical partnerships, or building high-performing teams.
Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, I’ve always had a competitive edge and a passion for leading from the front. I attended Collierville High School and was deeply involved in athletics—playing varsity soccer, club soccer, and competing in the Olympic Development Program. That competitive spirit carried me through college at the University of Tennessee, where I earned my degree and captained the men's soccer team. I also boxed as an amateur while balancing my studies and leadership responsibilities.
My professional journey began in medical device sales with Stryker Endoscopy, where I learned the importance of surgical workflow, product innovation, and customer care. From there, I joined Arthrex in the Sports Medicine division, where I served for six years as a Territory Manager. During that time, I was honored to serve on the national advisory board and received multiple Territory Manager of the Year awards. That experience shaped my belief in putting both patients and providers at the center of everything I do.
In 2021, I took a leap and founded ProCure Health, a company focused on advancing wound care solutions. Though it came with its share of challenges—including a tough business partnership that I eventually overcame—ProCure taught me resilience and sharpened my focus on what truly matters: impact over ego, solutions over shortcuts.
Outside of work, I co-host The Lighthouse Freedom Project, a podcast I created with my friend Chad King to explore personal growth, leadership, and stories of redemption. I’m also passionate about giving back—supporting the Mid South Junior Golf Tour and donating annually to Fable Farms, an animal sanctuary and recovery nonprofit.
At the core of everything I do is a simple belief: if you put patients and people first, success will follow. Whether I’m leading a sales team, mentoring others, or charting a new course in healthcare, that philosophy drives me every day.
