Howard Cooper

Guiding the Cooper Family Office in Florida as CEO, Howard Cooper pursues international opportunities in areas such as alternative hedge fund and private equity investments. Direct placements include real estate and operating companies, and Howard Cooper has also worked with asset managers in directing seed capital investments. Prior to establishing a single-family office in 2006, he had a background in public equities trading extending to the 1980s.

Charity and philanthropy are central to Mr. Cooper’s ethos, and he is committed in his support of educational initiatives that foster a passion for the arts among the less fortunate. He is also a strong proponent of environmental stewardship and globalization efforts that provide a measurable benefit to humanity, as well as contribute to the world economy.

Mr. Cooper has taken leadership roles in a diversity of academic settings over the years, and presently serves as chair of the Global Investor Forum at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He has also co-chaired the Discovery Council at Johns Hopkins University, and the advisory board of the departments of physics and astronomy. A Princeton University graduate, Howard Cooper served on the Department of Operations’ Research and Financial Engineering advisory board.
