Howard Hutton is a former ice hockey head coach, with experience at the NCAA, college club, and high school levels. He is a graduate of St. Joseph’s College in New York, with a degree in Organizational Management. He received his MBA from Long Island University – C.W. Post. He worked as an adjunct professor in Business Administration at St. Joseph’s College and continues to teach at the college level. In addition to playing college hockey as the team captain for Farmingdale State University from 1995 to 1997, he was a successful coach at the High School and ACHA levels. Prior to becoming a full-time head coach, Hutton worked for Radio Disney as Promotions Director. At the time, he was the youngest broadcast director in the country. He also handled corporate contracts and negotiations for Tribune Company at the executive level. Howard Hutton has also served as head coach of the NCAA D3 ECAC West hockey team for Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pennsylvania from 2005 to 2007. For the past 10-years, Howard has worked on the business side of the sport. He is formerly a Midwest/Ontario Player Agent for CMG Sports. In this position, Hutton scouted, recruited, researched and maintained client relationships at the NHL level. Howard is now the President and Founder of GDA Hockey. His company is generally considered one of the top family-advisor groups in North America. Now celebrating GDA’s 6-year anniversary, Howard’s network of advisors have unmatched results - with over $3,000,000.00 in scholarships awarded to GDA players and families. His position and standing within the sport has only strengthened and expanded his network of professional relationships and his base of experience in the amateur hockey arena, which will remain the core focus of GDA Hockey.
