Howard Slater

A veteran financial professional, Howard Slater brings more than three decades of experience to his current position as the principal and lead financial planner at Cedar Brook Group. In his work with the Ohio-based institution, he offers financial advice and guidance for business owners and high-net-worth individuals. Over his long career, Howard Slater has provided financial planning services for a roster of prominent clients which includes executives from companies such as B.F. Goodrich, Progressive Corporation, and Charles Schwab.Howard Slater earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and imaging and photographic technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology before going on to complete his MBA from the Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management. He also holds a master of science in financial services from The American College. Prior to joining Cedar Brook Financial Partners dba Cedar Brook Group, he held a number of leadership positions with Cleveland Financial Group, including serving as the director of operations and the regional director of financial planning.During his free time, Mr. Slater supports several charitable organizations, including the Greater Cleveland Volunteer Association and the Kosher Food Bank.
