Howard Wilner

Howard Wilner presides over New England Automax, Inc., and Automax Preowned, the largest car dealership group of its kind in New England. The company recently purchased a Hyundai dealership in Danvers, Massachusetts, as part of its expansion strategy. Under Howard Wilner’s management, Automax will renovate the former Hyundai facility and sell its own high-quality, pre-owned cars at the new location. In 2011 and 2012, the company’s sales rose by 13 percent and 10 percent, respectively.

Before starting his career as a car dealer, Howard Wilner enrolled at the Massachusetts Bay Community College, where he earned a degree in business administration and general management. He later accepted a position as president of the Marlboro Auto Exchange, which specializes in factory-direct foreign and domestic cars.

In his leisure time, the executive enjoys traveling to tropical locations such as Belize, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. Mr. Wilner also follows major league sports teams, including the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.
