Teacher, Trainer, and Coach in Michigan
Teacher, Trainer, Coach at Grand Ledge High School. Over the past four years I have taught Biology, Chemistry and Physics in both rural and urban settings. I have earned a bachelors degree from Central Michigan University in Secondary Education with a major in Integrated Science and a minor in Biology. I plan to move forward with my career in educational leadership.
In addition to teaching, I serve as a department chair and trainer for classroom management partnered with the Michigan Behavior Learning Supports Initiatives. Along with my classroom management responsibilities, I am an active member of the school wide literacy team that works to incorporate research based instructional strategies to improve instruction and literacy in all content areas.
I strongly believe in these initiatives which help strengthen the educational process. One that should focus on building relationships, and creating opportunities for students to explore, learn and grow.
