Aman Sharma holds an M.Phil. (Economics) degree along with M.A. (Business Economics) [Gold Medalist] and Post Graduate Diploma (Population Studies) [Gold Medalist]. He has also qualified the UGC-NET in the subjects of Economics and Management. He holds a research experience more than 3 years in the fields of Rural Economics, Environmental Economics and Development Economics as Research Assistant/Investigator. As a researcher, he was associated with the reputed institutions like Population Research Centre, Shimla (India); Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Administration (HIPA), Shimla (India); National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR), Hyderabad (India); and Lakehead University, Ontario (Canada). He is a regular visiting resource person of Himachal Pradesh Institute of Public Administration (HIPA), Shimla (India). He has an edited book and six research papers to his credit. Moreover, he has a teaching experience of two years as Lecturer (Economics) in the Department of Management & Humanities, National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh (India). His areas of interest include Business/Managerial Economics, Engineering Economics, Development Economics, Environmental Economics, Rural Economics, Demography/Population Economics, Applied Economics and Economics of Education. His areas of expertise are Business/Managerial Economics and Engineering Economics. Presently, he is a Ph.D. Scholar in the Department of Economics & Public Policy, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh (India).
