Hristina Tisheva

Just graduated from Columbia School of Journalism. Hristina's New York-based work was published in The Bronx Times and Crosstown Chronicle. She was a beat reporter in the South Bronx. She coverd sports in New York City for Uptown Radio. Hristina came to New York from Sofia, Bulgaria, where she worked as the radio morning show host for FOCUS Radio. Coursework at Columbia included: Sports Journalism, Radio Production, and Science Reporting. Reported master’s project on the Olympic saber fencers, who will represent the U.S. in London. The story conveys what is it like to be a world-class athlete in an obscure sport. A native of Bulgaria, Hristina received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the American University in Bulgaria. She minored in Political Science.
