Hsia-Hsiang Chen

Autobiography

Hsia-Hsiang Chen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at Tamkang University.

He received his Ph.D. in Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Chiao Tung University in 2016. He received his M.S. in Department of Industrial Management from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 2002 and his B.S. in Department of Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management from National Tsing Hua University in 2000.

During the Ph.D. candidate’s period, he worked as a software engineer in the department of software R&D of communication network equipment corporations. Afterward, he worked as a senior engineer in the division of software and firmware R&D of IC design houses. Then, he worked as a deputy project manager (including program development) in the division of software and firmware R&D of the photoelectricity equipment corporation.

Before that, he was a postdoctoral research fellow and worked on the principle and application of facial recognition and speech processing in artificial intelligence at National Central University from 2018 to 2022.
