Stuart Taylor is a delivery manager for one of the UKs busiest websites, an ISEB certified Test Practitioner, Agile Evangelist, and a very technical Internet application tester, with a proven track record of successfully managing the testing of a wide variety of Internet applications underpinned with world class solutions including Oracle 10g, Endeca, Apache and JAVA. He is very adept at working under pressure with unstructured teams, situations and environments.
He is proponent of Automated Acceptance Testing with tools such as ThoughtWorks Twist, FIT/Fitnesse and Selenium, Webdriver and working in a continuous integration development environment. Stuart enjoys speaking to technical and non-technical audiences about how to use technology to make their lives easier, build their business and make meaningful connections. His community work includes several years as the Young Persons Rep for the Merseyside Branch of the BCS, and volunteer work as a Youth worker at his local church. In his spare time he donates his time and professional knowledge to several Open Source projects including the award winning XBMC. Stuart is known for his keen understanding of technology, his ability for cutting to the chase and getting things done without drama.
