Hui Ting Jiang

Hui Ting Jiang currently teaches mathematics (Grade 6-9, Pre Algebra to Algebra II) in an international school in Beijing, China. She is dedicated to increasing educational equity in communities by building relationships with students and families, implementing innovative teaching methods, and constantly learning about the changing landscape of education.
Ting is a Teach For America alumna. She taught fifth grade for three years in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her area of expertise is mathematics, specifically Eureka Math (Common Core Math). She enjoys helping students develop a love for mathematics through conceptual understanding, logical reasoning, and interactive games. She graduated magna cum laude from Hunter College with a major in economics and minors in mathematics and public policy. She was a member of the Macaulay Honors College, Thomas Hunter Honors Program, and Leon Cooperman Pre-Business Scholars Program.
She hopes to use her knowledge and skill set to enhance the educational opportunities of all students. In her spare time, Ting enjoys good food and good books.
