Sam Hughes

Third-year creative music technology undergraduate with freelance experience creating and producing music. As a self-starter with a strong work ethic, I have proven abilities in collaboration, negotiation and working to deadlines.

I have been fortunate to work on numerous projects and collaborations. A recent project involved creating music and sound deign for animators in Thailand. Using creative digital audio techniques to create sound effects for animated characters. Subsequently this has been winner of two independent film festivals. Nominated/shortlisted and finalist at a further 6.

Alongside scoring for multiple short films, I have had experience composing, arranging and recording songs and albums for pop and rap musicians. Communicating ideas and working alongside people with creative differences, needs and expectations.

Under the name ‘Louis the Tenth’ I have produced music which is regularly played by BBC Introducing and accessible through streaming services.
