Hugh Salkind, owner of Hugh Glass Studio, followed the traditional path to artistry by apprenticing under the American master Bob Snodgrass and has been blowing glass since 1990.

Hugh specializes in functional glass art, marbles and wearables.

Besides running his own studio, Hugh teaches lampworking at The Corning Museum of Glass, Glass Craft Expo, Eugene Glass School and personal studios. Hugh also served as the flameshop director and event organizer for the Eugene Glass School (EGS), is a member of the Glass Art Society, and recently featured in a documentary about flameworking.
