WHO I AM
For the last two years I've covered Ole Miss (and, by extension, the SEC) for the Jackson Clarion-Ledger. I'm a one-man bureau nearly three hours away from the newsroom, so I'm covering the football, men's basketball and baseball programs almost single-handedly.
Personally, I'm a husband and father that enjoys running, watching hockey and both the smoking and grilling of meat.
WHERE I HAVE BEEN
Before moving to Mississippi I was the Indiana University basketball columnist for the Bloomington Herald-Times. I also covered high school sports for the H-T, including a championship-winning and nationally-ranked boys' basketball program.
I began my career in Rocky Mount, N.C. as part of the Telegram staff. There I did it all, from the Carolina Hurricanes and the ACC to high schools, local sports and page design work.
I'm an Appalachian State University graduate, class of 2005.
