I am a 18 years old Chinese Canadian. I moved to Edmonton, AB Canada since 2012. And I am proud to tell you that, I am a Gr.12 student from Victoria School Of the Visual and Performing Arts. I am telented in music, and I love dance, math and psycology. I am definitely act like a Canadian girl and speaks great Canadian english with a little asian accent. I am really out going, and I love communication. As a visual artist, society communicate is a really important pethod to get known by more people, be more confident and improve yourself. Wether communication or visual arts, are all my life. I love different kind of music. Rap, classical piano, rock, country music, old and pop songs. And I believe that sad songs used to be more power in some ways, when the musicican wants to impress and shows more. Is now my second year in Canada. I had been deal with different people in the past of my life, and I found that Edmonton is the best place with all the best visual arts in it. Come to Canada and lived in Edmonton definitely my best choice in my life. I had a year of both guitar and guitar degree, and I had been perform and learned on my own since 2013. I had been fell in love with music for almost 10 years. My grandpa used to play classical music or symphony at home everyday, and I was impressed by those power and greatful music, and everytime when I sit on a piano bench, I felt btterflies are coming out from my stomache, my fingers covered on the white keys, but just can't played a song! But when I was in Gr.9, I raised all my courage and walked in a piano studio, and from that on, I started my piano and music life. In the first two weeks, I spend 8 hours a day in the studio from 8 a.m to 4 p.m just to learn all the music theory. And I started can read music and play a real song in 2 months. After I came to Edmonton, I goes to the most famous art school in Alberta and I got more opportunities to improve my music skill and I also got the chance to be a dancer with passions. I believed in passions. I believe that passion can help you to achieve what you want to end up with. Being a musician probably can't make a good living, but my passion told me I should keep follow my dream. And thanks for everyone who viewed my pages and read my life story. And also thanks for all the supports. Carrie Jing Humbke Victoria School Of The Arts.
