I am a certified English-Hungarian translator and interpreter (consecutive and simultaneous).

I have a Ph.D. in English (TCU, 2001), as well as master's degrees in English and in Library & Information Science. After living in the USA for 4 years where I pursued my doctoral degree, I returned to Hungary to teach at the University of Debrecen. In 2010, I served as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Michigan State University.

In 2014, I left my academic career, and currently work as a freelance English-Hungarian translator, specializing in legal and business translations. My long-term clients include several law firms in Hungary, a global audit firm, the mayor's office in Hungary's second largest city, the University of Debrecen, as well as numerous translation agencies and other organizations both in Hungary and abroad.
