Theresa Hunt, PhD
Theresa Hunt is a University Lecturer of Humanities and Social Sciences at New Jersey Institute of Technology. She earned her BA (English, Secondary Education, 1999), MA (English, 2002), and PhD (Global Affairs, 2012) from Rutgers University. Her research interests include the globalization of social justice movements, gender and race in global development projects, and contemporary discourses of minority women in STEM fields. Her work has appeared in Women's Studies International Forum and the International Journal of Progressive Education, and she is a contributor to the volume Women Rising: Resistance, Revolution, and Reform in the Arab Spring and Beyond(forthcoming, NYU Press). She teaches courses on globalization and technology, multiculturalism in literature, feminist theory, and writing across the curriculum.
