Hussain al Nowais

For over 25 years, Hussain al Nowais has led a successful career as a global industrialist, exceptional investor and as a leader in the world of business. Mr. Al Nowais's expertise expands across a variety of sectors, including finance and energy, and has earned him numerous high-level positions with public and private organizations.

Mr. Al Nowais is currently involved in many endeavors, including serving as Chairman of Al Nowais Investments, a lucrative, family-owned business in Abu Dhabi that successfully operates 25 subsidiaries in a variety of industries. He is also the Chairman of Waha Capital and Vice Chairman of Abraaj Capital, considered to be the most prestigious private equity firm in the Middle East.

The Abu Dhabi government also selected Mr. Al Nowais to serve as the head of the Senaat, the largest industrial conglomerate in the United Arab Emirates that maintains control of over 25 billion AED in assets. He is also the Chairman of the Khalifa Fund, which focuses on promoting Emirati entrepreneurship, and is on the Board of Trustees at the science-focused Khalifa University.

Mr. Al Nowais received a degree in finance from Lewis & Clark College and completed Executive Management courses at the London Business School and INSEAD-France.
