Hussam Alsahlani

Pittsburgh, PA

Since 2007, Mr. Alsahlani has served as Vice President and Credit Relationship Manager with The Bank of
New York Mellon’s Global Energy Lending Group. Mr. Alsahlani creates and maintains loan relationships
with nearly thirty investment grade/high yield Oil and Gas and Utility customers with aggregate exposure of
nearly $2 billion. His client base spans all sectors of the energy cycle (upstream, midstream/MLP,
downstream, oilfield services as well as public and Investor Owned Utilities) serving credit relationships
domestically and internationally, covering clients as far as Paris and London to Mexico City and Calgary.

Mr. Alsahlani’s responsibilities include portfolio management, underwriting, Know Your Customer (KYC)
management and assisting Client Executives in promoting the banks’ Treasury Services, Corporate Trust,
Global Custody, Capital Markets, and Asset Management products. Prior to his current role, Sam completed
Mellon Financial’s credit training program and was quickly elevated to Senior Credit Analyst, underwriting
credit proposals for Oil & Gas, Utilities, Media & Telecom, Metals & Chemicals, Retail, and Pharmaceutical
companies.

Sam is actively involved in the business community as a member of the Economic Club of Pittsburgh and the
World Affairs Council. Sam is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Economics. He received his M.B.A. with a concentration in finance from the Katz School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.

Mr. Alsahlani resides in the Upper St. Clair suburb of Pittsburgh with his wife and two boys, both under the
age of five. He holds a brown belt in Judo and has twice captured PA state championships and has competed
at the junior olympic/national and international levels. Sam was also a competitive amateur boxer during his
last two years of high school, building a 19-2 record culminated by a Golden Gloves championship in 1997 at
the 139 pound weight class.
