Every time a business hires an outside consultancy firm or consultant, a legal document known as a consultancy agreement is used. As part of a certain programme or project, the corporation may elect to hire these consultants on a temporary basis. The corporation looks for external experts with in-depth knowledge in that subject rather than hiring such employees for protracted periods of time.
