"If you want to change the world, change the metaphor." -Joseph Campbell

It's all about story. Story connects to everything I do.

I have been writing for a living professionally since 1989 -- first as an advertising copywriter, and then as a freelance writer and consultant since 1994. I have a series of books, the Learning Fables, which are published by Pegasus Communications. That series, including "Outlearning the Wolves: Surviving and Thriving in a Learning Organization," has been published in more than a dozen languages and has sold more than a quarter million copies.

My last book is titled "A Slice of Trust: The Leadership Secret with the Hot & Fruity Filling" and features a foreword by Stephen M.R. Covey.

My new book is "Circle of the 9 Muses: A Storytelling Field Guide for Innovators and Meaning Makers. It's a portfolio of easy-to-facilitate processes that enable leaders like you to find, craft, and share the core stories of your organization. To be published in Spring of 2015 by Wiley & Sons. Watch for it!

My corporate work has brought me into some of the greatest companies in the world including The Coca-Cola Company, IBM, Wal-Mart, Bank of America, Eli Lilly, Nike, and many others.

Today I partner with the legendary Conference Board in NYC to develop and facilitated immersive, story-based learning experiences via exclusive relationships with NASA (at the Johnson Space Center in Houston); The US Olympic Committee (at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs); and at Gettysburg National Battlefield.

I like to build games that produce learning and change. I developed "The Speed of Trust: A Simulation", and is now co-branded with Stephen M.R. Covey in support of his bestselling book, "The Speed of Trust." Available now to create transformation within your organization.

My new product is "GO Team," a library of teambuilding modules.

I like turtles.
